I am getting lazy and lazier making mixtapes cover these days. It's just so time consuming! In the end, I don't think they mean much once the mixtape got stored in your ipod or smartphones. So I'll just make a couple and keep using them over and over again :)

Anyway this mixtape is from last week radio show. It was the final hour, and I thought of playing early 90s house and slowly rising the energy. However, a number of requests came it in the last minutes, thus diverted me to play some vintage house. I got carried on! It wasn't until the last song, I remember what I was planning to do, and took the direction back to the 90s classic house.

Made some mistake here and there, but pretty much still very enjoyable.... I guess :D

It's been awhile since I work at the local radio station, playing the dance hits from 80s and 90s hits non-stop every Friday nights from 8:00-12:00 pm.

During my sessions, I always record them for personal review later. So I've got quite a bunch of them now. So I reckon it would be a waste not to share them with you, especially these days I have been lazy to actually sit down and make mixtapes like I used to be. So I will upload them occasionally.  :P
 

Just to tell you in advance that you might notice that from one session to another (mixtapes in this case), some songs were played over and over again. Well, it's a LIVE SESSION and we do get requests. I personally will try to acccomodate these requests as many as possible. And from my observations, many requests are circling around the same songs over and over again. 

Sometimes, you might notice a sudden change of genre after the first or second song. Well, when this happened, usually I was taking over the deck from the previous DJ, and try to change the genre from the songs he was playing. 

I'll use the same title in the future for these recordings, and just mark them with the day I recorded them. In this case: 150724-A mean 24 July 2015, Session One.

It's been 3 months since I uploaded my last mixtape. Am I being lazy? Not at all, in fact I recorded new mixes every week from my radio shows at V Radio. And I also have lots of mixtapes for disposal collected from my live sessions at CDM Radio for the last few years. 

So why aren't I releasing any? Because I notice they are more or less the same songs played over and over again. Well, when I am performing for public, of course I have to play songs familiar to the audience ears.

So I "become lazy" uploading my mixtapes. But 3 months is kinda long enough. I think I should post something despite the songs that might have been played in previous mixtapes. So I dag through the folder of my recorded mixtapes, and pull out one among many. It's from my Thursday Night Live session recorded in Nov 14, 2013. This is actually the first 1,5 hours from an almost 3 hours session. Enjoy!
